Playaz at the Emmys

Just a few photos from the Emmys this past Sunday night. Several of us Playaz were in attendance. The photo to the left is of Bon and his date Nicolette Sheridan. Wayne is seen fooling around with Eva Longoria (basically, all the Playaz hooked up with the women of "Desperate Housewives". I can say Bill Macy was not too thrilled).

Bon was there to introduce Tom Brokaw and Dan Rather that evening. The Playaz and Tom go way back to when Tom was a fact-checker for the Playaz Ball blog.

I won an Emmy (I know, not the best photo of me) for Best White Performance In A Black Sitcom. I guest-starred as 'Whitey Jenkins' in Fox's short lived sitcom "Method & Red", starring Method Man and Redman. My role was the uptight white neighbor who was always complaining about Method & Red's loud music, befuddlement by their cars that bounced up and down, and constant attempts to get Method & Red incarcerated. The show never made it past the pilot episode, but the academy felt my performance worthy of an award.

I forgot to add the shot of the Johnny Carson tribute, where a clip was played featuring the Guv'na's appearance on the show. I believe Guv'na began laughing uncontrollably when Joan Embry lost control of some marmosets that began running up under the Guv'na's mink coat, which amused Carson a great deal.

Congrats on the Emmy, Phil. I missed the award as I was busy with Eva, if you know what I mean.

I thought for sure you'd run a photograph of Tess Smith:

She looks like a fun date. *KAWF*

Anon - we were never "officially" linked - our name just suddenly popped up under their "Associates" heading, then disappeared after a day or so. Your guess is as good as mine.

Cube - we were trying to figure out who that was. I guessed some random porn actress had stumbled on to the red carpet, but no one had any evidence as to who she was. And I still am confused.

I just did a post on that Tessie Smith character. She has no shame.

If I had to guess, it was a passive-aggressive link invitation. A "we'll link you if you link us" type dealio.

Possibly so, Unique.

I would have linked them if it stayed up.

Who was the famous designer of that snazzy Argile sweater? Gotta get me one of those before the sale at Sears expires.

Most of my stuff is Jordache, and this sweater is no exception. The electric blue slacks, hoever, are by Sansabelt.

Phil, who is paying the cleaning fee for the limo we used for the Emmy's? I am not usually a stick in the mud, shit happens and all, but really, taking a shit behind the mini-bar was too much!

I can tell you I'm not paying for it. They should have clearly marked it "ice bucket".

Love the photos.

And I know in some ways the Housewives are totally exchangeable, but... Nicolette Sheridan is in the photo on the right. Eva Longoria is on the left.

Smooches!

I know, Kathryn. That has to do with my poor layout skills.

You will note I identified the correct Playa with the correct Housewife, just didn't arrange the photos right.

We are down with the ladies of Wysteria Lane.

I have an ebay auctions misspelled auction search site. It pretty much is a search engine that allows you to search eBay for misspelled auctions and allows you to find some great bargains. Come and check it out if you have a chance.
